PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -
After a few years of traveling, Windfall Willie has returned to the Arizona Lottery.
Apparently, the miner had a traveling itch he needed to scratch and spent the last three years "traveling all around the world in search of fun new games, new ways to play and more ways to help Lottery players strike it rich," the Arizona Lottery said.
Willie has a new look (he's not as cartoony as he used to be) and a new position at the Arizona Lottery: Chief Fun Officer.
The Arizona Lottery mounted a giant, 12-foot pickaxe at the Arizona Center to help announce Willie's return.
He also brought with him all-new $30 Ultimate Millions Scratchers tickets.
Arizona Lottery said Willie is ready to launch some more games and will be seen around the Valley to promote the lottery.
