Chandler is calling more attention to one of the city’s big employment corridors.
It has launched a new branding initiative called “Uptown Chandler.”
The designation encompasses four square miles, extending from Alma School Road to Hamilton Street and from Ray Road to the northern city limits.
The brand is meant to promote business and lifestyle opportunities in the corridor, according to the city.
"We are working to bring attention to opportunities within the area by highlighting its unique assets and character, while championing for continued economic vitality," Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny said.
The area is also home to eclectic neighborhoods, high-performing schools, active lifestyles and a vibrant shopping and dining scene, Tibshraeny said.
