Scottsdale police ask for help to ID female bank robbery suspect

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -

The Scottsdale Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a woman accused of robbing an Amtrust Bank on Monday.

Police said the woman entered the bank branch near Shea Boulevard and the Loop 101 at approximately 1:30 p.m. and passed the teller a note demanding money.

The suspect is described as a black female, approximately 30 years old, about 5 feet tall, approximately 160 pounds, with black shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing sunglasses, a red long-sleeved shirt, dark-colored pants and sneakers with white socks.

The suspect left in an older model four-door sedan driven by an unknown accomplice.
