Celebrities draw huge crowds at Phoenix Open

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -

It was a huge day at the TPC Scottsdale as people turned out in record numbers to watch celebrities Mark Wahlberg, Bo Jackson, Michael Phelps and, of course, the Valley's own Larry Fitzgerald hit the links for the Annexus Pro-Am at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

The field included Fitgerald's fellow Arizona Cardinal Patrick Peterson, Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice, Hall of Fame pitcher Greg Maddux, seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens, former Phoenix Suns star and current Grand Canyon University basketball coach Dan Majerle, Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Archie Bradley and former Arizona Diamondback Miguel Montero.

Mark McClune was at TPC Scottsdale for the pro-am, along with 77,906 of his closest friends and fellow golf fans, and had the opportunity to chat with some of the celeb players.
