Arizona Cardinals can breathe a little bit easier as wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald said on Wednesday he is coming back to play another season, the team said.
It will be his 14th season in the league.
Fitzgerald is easily the most popular on the team and has been the face of the franchise for years.
While he led the league in catches with 107, the second-highest total of his career, he also averaged 9.6 yards per reception, which was the lowest of his career.
He also had 1,023 receiving yards and hauled in six touchdowns.
Now Cardinals fans move their attention to the future of quarterback Carson Palmer.
