Surveillance photos released in Phoenix church burglary

Police investigating a Phoenix church burglary have posted a reward of up to $1,000.

Silent Witness released surveillance images of a suspect and his getaway vehicle in hopes it would lead to an arrest.

The burglary happened at the Desert Breeze Community Church at 17600 N. Black Canyon Freeway on Friday, Dec. 30 at 9 a.m.

A man between 18 to 25 years old broke into the church, stole a Mac computer and fled in a 2000 to 2002 gold or white Ford Explorer.

The suspect is further described as 5’9” tall and weighing 140 pounds. He has bushy brown hair.

The burglar wore a black and gray-hooded sweatshirt, black shorts and gray shoes.

The reward is offered if the suspect arrested and convicted.
