PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -

Phoenix police were searching for two men in their 20s in connection with a deadly shooting Friday night.

The victim, a 29-year-old man, was leaving an apartment at 16000 N. Seventh St. at around 10 p.m., Phoenix Police Lt. Paul Taylor said.

Witnesses said they heard gunshots.

“Some witnesses may have seen two unknown males near him outside just prior to the incident,” Taylor said.

Arriving officers found the victim suffering gunshot wounds.

Paramedics with the Phoenix Fire Department pronounced the man dead at the scene.

“We have no solid suspect descriptions at this time and very little information,” Taylor said.

People with information are urged to call the Phoenix Police or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
