PEORIA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -

The Peoria Police Department released surveillance video on its Twitter account Thursday of a burglary that happened back in November and are now seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect.

The surveillance video shows the man unscrewing a generator attached to the outside of a large truck and struggling to lower the heavy object to the ground.

The truck was parked inside a fenced commercial yard near 78th Avenue and West Golden Lane, south of Olive Avenue, in Peoria on the evening of Nov. 7.

The suspect gained entry into the secure yard by cutting a lock on the gate. Once he had the generator in his possession, he took it back to his vehicle and drove away.

The vehicle might have been a light-colored or silver minivan, and could possibly be a Pontiac Aztec or Chevrolet Venture. The man is estimated to be in his 40s.

Anyone with any knowledge of this crime or anyone who may recognize the individual is urged to contact the Peoria Police Department Property Crimes Unit at 623-773-8311.
