A late-night burglary at a possible drug drop house ended with one teen shot dead in the street and two suspects on the loose and now police have identified the victim.

It happened in the neighborhood of 34th and Surrey avenues, which is northeast of 35th and Sweetwater avenues.

It started with a 911 call reporting a burglary at about 9 p.m. Two neighbors reportedly heard banging and saw that a screen had been removed from the window of a home and heard gunshots coming from the south.

One neighbor called 911. Police said 18-year-old Seth King, armed with a pellet gun, and another person went to confront the suspects -- and man and a woman -- to try to stop the break-in.

When police arrived on the scene, they found King lying in the street; he had been shot to death.

Officers searched the home that was the would-be burglars' target. Inside they found materials for packaging drugs and not much else. The lack of furniture and other things you might normally find in a home led investigators to believe the residence might be a drug drop house.

Police said they are looking for a late model 4-door car, possibly a Mitsubishi-style vehicle with tinted windows. A silver Acura was seen leaving the area, as well.
