Known as "The Greatest Show on Grass," the Waste Management Phoenix Open is one of the most sustainable sporting events in the world due to its zero-waste mentality that sees the competition reuse materials year after year.

This year, TPC Scottsdale, Arizona's professional golf headquarters and home of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, will install a massive floating logo as part of its final preparations.

This rotating Waste Management logo structure will be filled with 144,000 used golf balls and will float atop the lake on the 18th hole, despite the structure weighing over 8 tons.

The 2017 Waste Management Phoenix Open will take place from Jan. 30 through Feb. 5 at TPC Scottsdale, 17020 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale.
