Police have arrested a suspect in a stabbing that occurred Sunday night at a Circle K in Glendale.

Jonathan Hossack faces an aggravated assault charge.

Glendale police officers responded to the convenience store at Glendale and 43rd avenues around 8:30 p.m. and found a man who had been stabbed multiple times.

The victim was transported to a hospital and at last check was in critical condition.

Investigators said the suspect was parked at a gas pump when the victim pulled up to a nearby pump. The suspect then walked over to the victim and, without any verbal exchange, stabbed him with a large knife, according to police.

The suspect drove off in a red four-door vehicle.

The suspect was described as a white man, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds. He had light hair in a buzz cut and was wearing a light-colored sweater with a picture of a female on the front.

In a tweet Tuesday morning, the Glendale Police Department thanked the community for helping identify Hossack as the suspect.
