While drivers groan at the thought of all that snow hitting the high country this weekend, skiers and snowboarders are rejoicing!

The heavy snowfall makes for great conditions on the slopes.

Here's the latest:

Sunrise Park Resort

In 72 hours, Sunrise Park Resort was hit with a massive powder storm which brought 37 inches of new snow to all three of its mountains.

The National Weather Service is also calling for an additional five to seven inches of snow overnight, so skiing should be great next week.

Midweek Ski & Stay Packages at the Sunrise Hotel start from as low as $145.

You can find more information by visiting www.sunriseskipark.com or by calling 855-735-SNOW.

Things are also looking good at Arizona Snowbowl.

Arizona Snowbowl

Arizona Snowbowl received 47 inches in 48 hours. And with more snow in the forecast, you can bet you'll find plenty of fresh powder.

If you're headed to the area, chains or 4-wheel drive are recommended. Drive with care.
