Jaime's Local Love: The Zen Bird
The Zen Bird started the summer of 2013. Marian started attending yoga every day and shifting her mind from negative thinking to positive. This allowed her to create a product with a PURPOSE. She designed a Zen Bird Band- worn to remind us of the power of our thoughts and to choose the ones of kindness, love, empathy and gratitude. We BECOME what we think. Our character shifts, our world transforms.
From there, Marian started selling Zen Bird Bands at local markets and developed a curriculum to teach women about their thinking and host empowering gatherings to connect, inspire and ignite the INNER workings of the heart and soul. The curriculum is coined as the Heart and Soul Curriculum and is a powerful way to learn the soft skills- gratitude, love, peace, acceptance, joy, gratitude. The curriculum has 12 topics and 12 workshops are hosted around the Valley. The workshops are listed at www.marian-mellen.com. Workshops are for women of all ages ranging from 15 years to 70+ years. Women come together to find their tribe and to be REAL, honest, vulnerable and to learn the skills of the Heart and Soul Curriculum.
