SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -

The largest food truck festival in the Southwest is coming to Salt River Fields at Talking Stick Feb. 11-12. It’s the 6th Annual Street Eats!

From lobster creations to gourmet burgers, you’ll be able to taste every type of cuisine imaginable.

Each food truck – there will be more than 60 of them – with have a $2 sample item on the menu.

But the event features more than just food galore. There will be live bands, as well as cooking demonstrations hosted by food blogger, recipe developer and dining enthusiast Joanie Simon. There also will be a variety of eating contests, a kids’ zone and more.

Tickets are $12 for general admission; children 12 and younger get in free.

For $60, you can enjoy the VIP experience, which includes entry to the festival, six beverages, private restrooms, four $2 food tokens and access to the private VIP lounge.

Some 35,000 people are expected at this year's event.

A portion of the proceeds from Street Eats will benefit Child Crisis Arizona, formerly known as Crisis Nursery, which serves more than 8,000 vulnerable children and families annually through shelter, education and intervention services. The organization operates the only emergency shelters for children in the Valley.
