Experience Chanukah in a meaningful way

Chanukah Wonderland is a free hands on event taking place today in the east Valley, beginning at 10:30 a.m. We join Rabbi Mendy Deitsch as he explains how you can experience the holiday with your family in a fun and meaningful way. Chanukah begins Sat. night, Dec. 24, 2016 and continues through Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017.

Chanukah, a celebration for all time, is highlighted by the kindling of the Menorah each night of the holiday. "It is a holiday that enriches our lives with the light of tradition," said Rabbi Mendy Deitsch, director of Chabad of the East Valley. "In ancient times our ancestors rededicated the Temple in Jerusalem with the Menorah. Today, we rededicate ourselves to making this world a better and brighter place." Chanukah also propagates the universal message that ultimately good will prevail over evil, freedom over oppression and light over darkness.

Chanukah Wonderland, will open its doors to the entire community on Monday December 26th, starting at 10:30 am until 4:30pm. Conveniently located at the Pollack Chabad Center for Jewish Life 875 N. McClintock, children and adults experience Chanukah through some fun and exciting activities
