National Pastry Day

Nothing smells quite as good as the buttery-sweet aroma of cinnamon rolls on a crisp winter morning. While popping open a can of the sweet brown swirls is tempting, baking cinnamon rolls from scratch will have the family and holiday house guests asking for seconds.

In honor of National Pastry Day on Friday, December 9, Chef Plinio Sandalio, Pastry Chef for Fox Restaurant Concepts, provide us with expert tips on upping their cinnamon roll game, just in time for the holiday season.

Tips for checking yeast, warm liquids before adding to yeast, chill the dough in the fridge to make it firm, use floss not a knife - to slice the roll, etc.
