Sprouts Announces National Hiring Day

Sprouts Farmers Market will hold a hiring day on Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at all of its stores from coast to coast. Sprouts aims to fill more than 2,000 full- and part-time, non-seasonal positions to meet the demand of continued growth. Open interviews will be held at each Sprouts location; no appointment is necessary. A list of local openings and online applications can be found at sprouts.com/careers.

Pets can visit Santa this year in Peoria and Holiday pajama party in Peoria this weekend

Pets love Christmas, too! This year Park West in Peoria is hosting two nights for pet owners to bring their four-legged children for a night of fun and a visit with Santa. They can get a picture with the big guy, and you can, too.

Holiday festivities ramp up in Peoria this weekend at Santa's pajama party. Kiddos in PJs can take a ride on a horse-drawn carriage, make crafts, sip hot chocolate, watch special holiday entertainment and win Harkins Theatre movie passes.

"Snow Queen" holiday fairy tale in Phoenix until Dec. 18

Based on a Hans Christen Anderson fairy tale, "Snow Queen" tells the tale of a wicked queen who rules over the icy land. 150 Valley kids perform in the show. Performances are each Saturdays and Sundays through Dec 18th at the Herberger Theater Center, Stage West, 222 E. Monroe St, Phoenix AZ 85004.  

Saturday performances are at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm and Sundays are at 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm

AAWL is hosting a three-day camp the week after Christmas. It is $60 per day or $150 for all three days! Kids will have the opportunity to learn all about dogs, cats and exotic animals. They will be able to interact with different animals at the shelter.  

Also, the Arizona Animal Welfare League has launched their Models Mutts Meow 2017 calendar. This calendar featured models and various animals from the no-kill animal shelter. The wonderful things about this calendar is that all of the models donated their time and the photographer donated their time and studio to make this wonderful calendar.
