Ex-DES director mum on weapons stockpile

A year ago, Gov. Doug Ducey was quoted saying that if he could clone Tim Jeffries, he would.

But now, Jeffries is out as the director of the Department of Economic Security and there are a lot of questions. 

A massive stockpile of weapons was discovered at his agency shortly after he was forced to resign.

We tracked him down to try and get more answers.

But the man known for his motivational, or, "mojo" speeches wasn't saying much.

While the size of the weapons cache found at DES was unusual, state agencies housing weapons may not be. \

At least 14 state agencies and boards -- other than the Department of Public Safety -- employ their own police force, according to a list compiled by the governor's office.
