Motivational Monday: Pay as you go training and functional training

We're getting motivated this morning at Mountainside Fitness-Arrowhead in Glendale with their "pay as you go" training. If you've always wanted help from a trainer, but could never afford it, maybe now you can. We learn how to get one-on-one help with our fitness goals, without breaking the bank.

Also, we learn functional training, how to be creative with exercises, and how lighter weights can be beneficial. We spend the morning with the trainers of Mountainside Fitness-Arrowhead in Glendale. We're modifying workouts, doing complex full body movements, and avoiding injuries, all in the name of Motivation

If you're looking for a holiday job, you could try your hand at acting. Midwestern University is looking for people who can act-out being sick to help with training. Yes, it's much like the funny scenes from Seinfeld when Kramer acted out various illnesses for med students:

  •     It’s a real thing and Midwestern is now hiring!
  •     People make $20-40 an hour (need to confirm the actual amounts)
  •     First Midwestern students work with simulator patients
  •     Then they work with actors pretending to be sick
  •     Then they work with real patients

To apply go to www.midwestern.edu or call 623-572-3870.
