Close to 11,000 people showed up at Wesley Bolin Plaza in downtown Phoenix Saturday for the "Walk to End Alzheimer's."
3TV's Nicole Crites helped host the annual event.
People came from all over Arizona and out of state to honor the155,000 local people diagnosed with this disease, as well as their caregivers.
There were more than 600 walks like this nationwide this weekend.
Local donors raised more than $450,000!
