Paul's Carwash to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters 

It's the 9th year for Paul's Carwash, partnered with 95.1 The Oasis, and you can join the crew of CBS and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona to wash cars and collect donations! Participate by bringing your car down. Beginning today, CBS-5 Meteorologist Paul Horton will live in an RV at Desert Ridge Marketplace for the entire week, as he prepares to wash upwards of 2,000 cars to raise money and awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters. It's a fun community event featuring music, mini horses, drill team entertainment and more. Last year Mayor Greg Stanton kicked things off as Dan Majerle, Grumpy Cat, Tom Chambers, Alice Cooper, and Luis Gonzales all drove their cars through.

Phoenix Sky Harbor's Terminal 3 gets a Facelift 

The media received a first look this morning, behind the construction wall, of the first phase of the newly-modernized Terminal 3. This tour, with Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton, is the first sneak peek of the transformation. Airport officials say the $590 million dollar changes will be dramatic, and will enhance the traveler's experience by making security checkpoints more efficient. The makeover also includes amenities such as, new food venues, seating, retail, additional ticket counters and more.

Celebrate a fall tradition at Desert Botanical Gardens 

Families can enjoy a hayride to the pumpkin patch, attempt the hay bale maze, and meet adorable farm animals at The Great Pumpkin Festival.

Guests can take the hayride to the pumpkin patch and each kid under 12 gets to pick a pumpkin to take home.

"Stuff the Bus" at new Assistance League East Valley Thrift Shop 

We join dozens of volunteers and the Chandler Fire Department as they "Stuff the Bus" full of new sweatshirts, socks and tennis shoes. It's all to benefit Assistance League East Valley, and their new thrift shop which opens today. You can participate with "Stuff the Bus" now, until 1:00 p.m. The new thrift shop was made possible by local entrepreneur Michael Pollack, owner of Pollack Investments.

Biopic tells story of 1st Columbine student killed

Two decades after the Columbine school shooting, a new film called, "I'm Not Ashamed" opens today, nationwide, in theatres. It's about the inspiring true story of Rachel Joy Scott, the first of 13 people (twelve students and one teacher) killed at the school on April 20, 1999. Rachel was killed shortly after telling one of the killers that she believed in God. We speak to actress Sadie Robertson, of Duck Dynasty, who's starring in the film, along with Rachel's mother, Beth Nimmo.

Downtown Gallery Celebrates with One of a Kind Halloween and Dia de Muertos Event

Art, music, costumes and a hair runway show merge under the stars during an evening of creativity and culture with a Dia de Muertos art show and auction at Luna Culture Lab to benefit ASU students.

10 local artists who have transformed a plain calavera (skull) into a piece of artwork to be auctioned off to benefit the Los Diablos scholarship fund. Established in 1984, Los Diablos is a non-profit organization committed to academic scholarship and community service. It is the official Latino chapter of the ASU Alumni Association and an affiliate of the ASU Foundation. For nearly 30 years, Los Diablos has been raising funds to provide financial assistance and support to outstanding Arizona residents who attend ASU. Approximately 2,000 scholarships have been awarded to date, with a value of over $3 million dollars.

This year, Luna Culture Lab have partnered with four hair salons and barbershops to host a hair runway show that will include 20 looks with models styled in Halloween and Dia de Muertos inspired looks. This year's participants includes Rochelle's Salon and Spa, Junior's Barber Parlor, Le'Hair Salon and Regina Valenzuela Mua.
