GLENDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -

Police on Monday released a composite sketch of the man they believe sexually assaulted a woman in Glendale over the weekend.

It happened at about 6 a.m. Sunday under a bridge in the area of 91st Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

"The victim was walking south on 91st Avenue when the suspect drove by her several times," Sgt. Scott Waite wrote in a news alert. "He parked the vehicle and started following her on foot."

The suspect confronted the woman at the bridge, grabbing her hair and pulling her underneath.

"He then pointed a handgun at the female and sexually assaulted her," according to Waite.

The suspect is described as a white male, around 55 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 145 pounds, and is completely bald. The suspect has a very large and bushy bright white mustache.

He was driving a newer model red four-door sedan.

"The Glendale Police Department encourages anyone that has any information, no matter how irrelevant it may seem, to please call Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000," Waite said.
