BUCKEYE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -

A newly released report from the Buckeye Police Department indicates officers checked on missing 10-year-old Jesse Wilson back in March. This new information adds to the growing list of encounters between police and Jesse’s family.

This specific report states Jesse and his two siblings had been wandering outside a Walgreens for about two hours by themselves. Police were eventually able to contact Jesse’s mother, Crystal Wilson, who told them she was at the kids' school to pick them up. She told police she had instructed the school not to put them on the bus because she would be there for parent-teacher conferences. She said the school put children on the bus anyway. The kids were returned to their mother and nothing else came of the incident.

In April, police were called after a neighbor reported Jesse was standing on the street corner. The boy asked the neighbor for food and said he was hungry and scared. Again, he was taken back to his home and given back to his mother.

It does not appear the Department of Child Safety was contacted in either case.

We've not had the opportunity to ask police if they have confirmed the mother's story.

Jesse has been missing for a month now.
