Cardiac Screenings

We may not know the cause of death for Zach Hemmila for weeks, but Anthony (Sharon's son) died 16 years ago from hidden HCM (an enlarged heart), the leading killer of young athletes in this country.
-EKG & Ultrasound tests can pick up this deadly condition
-ABF has performed over 12,000 screening tests & over 12% (1 in 8) are found to have hidden heart issues; ½ are life threatening

Most doctors do not perform these tests without symptoms (chest pain, blackouts, dizziness, heart palpitations or family history

In the case of Anthony, sudden death was his only symptom.

Heart screenings by donation, this Sunday, August 14th @ HHS, screenings are available for youth over 10 y/o & adults, too

Cowboy's Saloon

Country music fans of the West Valley, better dust off your boots and get ready to cowboy up. The second Metro Phoenix location of Cowboys Saloon is set to make its debut next month in Peoria and will offer just as much country kitsch and dance floor action as its sister spot in North Phoenix.

The 18,339 square-foot establishment, which is located in the Park West retail center near Northern and 98th avenues, is still in the process of being gussied up but will feature the same sort of amenities and vibe as the Cowboys Saloon in North Phoenix. That includes rustic-looking digs, an enormous bar (which is built around a towering wooden barrel) a large stage for local and touring country music acts, and an enormous dance floor for those eager to engage in a little boot-scooting fun. They'll even have mechanical bull for any cowpokes daring enough to take a ride.
