Hopefest 2016

On April 16, Chase Field in downtown Phoenix will be transformed into a community-wide service project in a festive atmosphere where more than 2,000 volunteers will provide 20,000 individuals with immediate food, housing and medical assistance.

By bringing together more 200 community agencies, CityServe Arizona's HopeFest Phoenix will serve the needs of the Valley's uninsured, underinsured and underserved population and connect them to resources that facilitate long-term solutions, independence and stability.

In addition to services, other essential items such as clothing, haircuts and personal care products will be available, as well as information on employment services, tax preparation, fitness training, child safety needs and more.

New this year, Central Arizona Dental Society Foundation will provide dental services on the day before the festival, Friday, April 15, as well as the day of the festival. Free care will be delivered on a first-come, first-served basis during the two-day period.

"We are pleased to be part of this collaborative event," said Dr. Jacqueline Allen, a Phoenix Endodontist and CADS Foundation Board President. "This is one way we can give back to the community while providing critical dental care to those who need it most."

The main HopeFest Phoenix event will be held on April 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Chase Field, 401 E. Jefferson Street, Phoenix. Free parking is available in the Chase Field parking garage and on the street, but parking is limited and use of the light rail is encouraged.
