Joyride Taco House
Informed by authenticity, but not beholden to it, Joyride Taco House is Mexican food made for daily living. Everything here is fresh made from scratch, including the salsas, the marinades, and the hand-pressed tortillas and tortilla chips. Sharable starters include 3 different types of ceviche; 2 types of guacamole, and hearty pozole soup that serves two. Entrées include salads, burritos, and tortas, as well as house specialties such as slow-braised beef tamales, and slow-roasted rotisserie chicken. Not to mention, 10 different varieties of hand-crafted tacos, ranging from carne asada and short rib, to beer-battered fish, grilled shrimp and an ever-changing Chef's Special. Joyride's extensive beverage menu showcases refreshing and colorful agua fresca's, both for adults (mixed with your choice of spirit), and for the kiddos. Plus, enjoy their staple "$5 Until 5" wine and beer specials every day of the week.

Mega Kids Sale: Kid's Closet Connection
Our MEGA kids’ sale is this week in Mesa. Our East Valley sale is coming up in just a few weeks. This is our biggest sale in the valley. The event is February 25-27 at the Fiesta Plaza Center, 1420 W Southern Ave in Mesa. Seller drop-off is Mon/Tues, Feb 22-23 and our pre-sales are Wednesday evening, February 24th. Most items remaining on February 27th are marked down 50%.
As you know, Kid's Closet is a great way for families to sell clothes their kids have grown out of,
toys they no longer play with and children's toys and furniture they no long use. It also provides gently used items at affordable prices to other families that need them.
Consignors make 65-percent of the profit from the items they sell. Each sale is set up like a department store and features gently-used children's clothing; strollers; car seats; baby equipment; kid's furniture; toys; outdoor play equipment; exer-saucers; books; DVDs; computer software and more. Over 400 families are expected to participate as sellers. After the sale, many left over items are donated to the New Life Center. These items end up directly in the hands of those in need of essential kid's clothing, baby gear and nursery items.
