3rd bomb threat in 2 weeks received at Chandler school

CHANDLER, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -

A bomb threat received Tuesday brought police back to a Chandler school for the third time in two weeks.

Officers issued an “all clear” signal following a sweep at Willis Jr. High School near McQueen and Frye roads.

Classes were not released during the latest investigation.

The school was hit twice before by bomb threats – one on Feb. 1 and another on Jan. 20. Nothing was found.

The Chandler Police Department and Chandler Unified School District are offering a $3,000 reward for information about the person(s) responsible for the bomb threats.
