Career Fair to Feature Over 20 Valley Employers

Maricopa Workforce Connections, a division of the Human Services Department of Maricopa County, will hold a career fair on January 14th at its West Valley Career Center in Phoenix.

The fair will be held from 10:00am- 12:00pm and feature over 20 employers including Starbucks, CVS Health and Desert Diamond Casino. Job seekers are encouraged to bring a current resume, dress professionally and be prepared to network with employers.
The West Valley Career Center is located at 1840 N. 95th Avenue, Suite 160, Phoenix, AZ 85037. 

Maricopa Workforce Connections provides career seekers with no cost resources to assist in obtaining employment or career training. Services include employment workshops, career guidance and connections with employers. Services are offered Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm at both the West Valley Career Center and the East Valley Career Center.

Thursday, January 14th is National Hot Pastrami Sandwich Day!

1/3 lb.  ½ lb. of Miracle Mile's Famous Pastrami 
¼ lb. Hot Sauerkraut
2 slices of Imported Swiss cheese
1 Roll of choice or 2 slices of fresh Rye Bread

Pile Pastrami high on bottom of layer of bread choice.  Heat sauerkraut on flat top grill or in saucepan on medium heat.  Once kraut is hot, layer Swiss cheese on top of kraut until melted.  Once kraut is hot and cheese is melted, pile kraut and cheese on top of hot pastrami and cover with the top portion of roll/bread, Enjoy!

1/3 lb. of Miracle Mile's famous Hot Pastrami
4oz. of Miracle Mile's Homemade Coleslaw
2oz. of Russian Dressing
Served on your favorite bread of choice (Rye, Kaiser Roll, Onion Roll, Marble Rye)

Using the Hot Pastrami as the base, pile on the coleslaw and the Russian dressing goes on the top portion of the bread! Another simple recipe but put together is heaven on a plate.
