New Year's Eve Block Party on Mill Avenue

The huge outdoor, all-ages party changes hands this year and is being produced by Downtown
Tempe Authority, featuring fireworks and confetti at midnight, 18 outdoor bars, 2 stages and live
entertainment including Chase Rice and Jared and The Mill on the main stage at 5th & Mill.
Patrons can buy drinks and walk freely throughout the festival area. A number of bars will be
doing special street activations, and for those who want an indoor bar or club experience, there
are VIP packages available.

Comedian Paul Rodriguez Live @ Scottsdale Laugh Factory for New Year's (December 31- January 2)

Longtime comedian Paul Rodriguez has been making audiences laugh all over the world (in Spanish and English) for three decades with his unique brand of humor that is a perfect blend of his Latin heritage, the American dream and his undeniable universal appeal. As an actor and comedian, Paul Rodriguez's multi-faceted career includes starring roles and featured appearances in over 45 films and countless television series and comedy specials. In March 2015, Paul opened the newest location of the world famous Laugh Factory comedy club in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Celebrate the arrival of 2016 on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day at Westgate Entertainment District with something for everyone!

The Arizona Coyotes will launch the first ever Arizona Coyotes Youth Mobile Tour on New "Yotes" Eve starting at 5pm at Fountain Park, just two hours before the team takes on the Winnipeg Jets. The free, mobile experience will bring the Coyotes NHL experience to kids across the Valley. The tour includes immersive technology and hands-on hockey skills stations, a fan zone where the hockey-obsessed get temporary Coyotes tattoos, hair chalk and face paint, an interactive draft experience with photo station and draft card, videos from Arizona Coyotes players, a personality quiz that matches kids to their favorite players, a virtual slap shot experience allowing young players to take a shot on goal against an NHL goalie, giveaways and more. 
On New Year's Day, Westgate bars and restaurants will open as early as 7am to welcome Fiesta Bowl fans who will root on the Ohio State Buckeyes or the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Whether going to the game or watching it from the many restaurants and bars, Westgate is the one-stop shop for game-day fun and within walking distance of the stadium. Plus, post-bowl festivities from 2pm until 6pm include live music by The Instant Classics, interactive games and more than 20 bars and restaurants to eat and drink. For game-day parking, Westgate Entertainment District lots will open and begin charging $20 per vehicle starting at 6am. Plan to enter from the north off Glendale Ave. via 95th or 93rd Ave. Tailgating and overnight parking will not be permitted in Westgate parking lots.

2016 is just around the corner! Join the Phoenix Zoo and ring in the New Year in Galactic style with a Star Wars themed celebration!

            the kids to ring in the New Year! 

Noon Year's Eve festivities are included with general admission into the Zoo.  Admission is $20 for adults and $14 for children ages 3-13. Children two and under are free. Members of the Zoo are free!

Childrens's museum of Phoenix Hosts Family friendly New Year Celebration

The Children's Museum of Phoenix, one of the Top 3 Children's Museums in the Country (Early Education Zone), is located in the historic Monroe School Building at 215 N. 7th Street in downtown Phoenix. The Museum offers 3 full floors of hands-on, fun and educational activities for children ages birth to 10. The mission of the Museum is to engage the minds, muscles and imaginations of
children and the grown-ups who care about them. The Museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays, 9am to 4pm. Admission is $11 per person, Members and children under the age of 1 are free.
