3rd Annual Five-O Car Show to Support Special Olympics

The Gilbert Police third annual "Five-O Car Show" to benefit Special Olympics Arizona Unified Sports is soon approaching on November 14th, 2015, from 10am-2pm.  The event will be held at the San Tan Village parking lot, 2218 east Williams Field road in Gilbert.  

The purpose of this event is to raise money and awareness in support of over 500 Gilbert Special Olympic athletes who participate in Unified Sports.  It is through the efforts of the Gilbert Police Department and other Public Safety Agencies that these Special Olympic Athletes and their families are supported. 
Registration before the event is $15  and the day of the event $20.

Gena Lee Nolin- Barnes and Noble

Gena Lee Nolin of the hit tv series “BayWatch” will be at Noble & Barnes to discuss Thyroid disease and how she dealt with the disease. She wrote about her experience in a book titled: book "Beautiful Inside and Out: Conquering Thyroid Disease with Healthy, Happy, 'Thyroid Sexy' Life.”  She will be at the Barnes & Noble in Scottsdale at 7 pm. to sign her book.

Gena Lee will also have a couple of specialist doctors at this event where anyone can come and ask questions and find support.

Youtheory to host NASCAR ticket raffle and demonstration at SPROUTS in Avondale

2015 NPC Felicia Romero/Western Regional Championships

Felicia Romero/ Western regional championship will be held this Friday and Saturday, November 13th and 14th at Mesa Center of the Arts. Men and women will be competing in body building. Prejudging is on Friday at 7 pm and Finals are on Saturday at 6pm.

Arizona Opera's second production of its 2015/16 season, Florencia en el Amazonas comes to Phoenix and Tucson for the first time. Inspired by the magical realism of celebrated author Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Florencia en el Amazonas is an exotic journey through the physical and mystical worlds of love, desire and the mighty Amazon River.
