This year's parade theme is "No Longer Forgotten:  Honoring our Korean War Veterans."  With more than 100 entries, this year's parade will have a special float with nearly 20 Korean War Veterans riding on it.   The parade will also feature patriotic floats, high school marching bands, JROTC marching units, color guards, Veterans Service Organizations, animals, novelty units and much, much more.

The Phoenix Veterans Day Parade route runs southbound on Central Avenue starting at Montebello, turns East onto Camelback Road and then South on 7th Street ending at Indian School Road.

The Parade is designed to help commemorate and honor our Veterans and to educate Americans about the service and sacrifices our Veterans have made to protect our freedoms.

Movember 2015 is in full swing. Guys are growing out mustaches for awareness and support of different male cancers or just for fun. We talk to local spokesperson Ken Bonham and a few of his Movember team members about the cause, the rules and how men can get involved.

Basically the only rules are you have to be clean shaven on November 1st and your moustache can not connect to a full beard.  And you have to shave on the last day of the month.  Movember is a lot like Susan G Komen and other fundraisers where you can create a team on the website and raise money that way.

They will be hosting an official Movember party in Tempe on Nov 20th at the Pedal House Brewery, 730 S Mill Ave. from 7 pm to 10 pm. Tickets are $10.
