Miracle Mile Deli recipes for National Sandwich Day

Tuesday, November 3 is National Sandwich Day! Miracle Mile Deli is home of some of the most popular sandwiches in the Valley.

All day long this Tuesday, if you purchase an entrée or sandwich you can choose a slice of pie, or a micro brew draft for just $2 more. Also, while supplies last, pint drafts of Harvest Patch Shandy will be on special for $2.  

The Straw  
Miracle Mile's #1 Selling Sandwich!

1/3 lb. of Miracle Mile's Famous Pastrami 
¼ lb. Hot Sauerkraut
2 slices of Imported Swiss cheese
1  Roll of choice or 2 slices of fresh Rye Bread

Pile Pastrami high on bottom of layer of bread choice.  Heat sauerkraut on flat top grill or in saucepan on medium heat.  Once kraut is hot, layer Swiss cheese on top of kraut until melted.  Once kraut is hot and cheese is melted, pile kraut and cheese on top of hot pastrami and cover with the top portion of roll/bread. Enjoy!

Turkey Cran 
A great sandwich for Thanksgiving leftovers & a great deli sandwich!

¼ lb. of Fresh White Meat Turkey (or dark meat if using Thanksgiving leftovers)
2 slices of your cheese of choice (we like Imported Swiss)
2 oz. of Cranberry Sauce
2 Tomato Slices
 Red Onion slices to taste
1 piece of Green Leaf Lettuce
1 Roll of choice or 2 slices of fresh Rye Bread

Layer lettuce, tomato & onion on bottom portion of bread choice.  Layer turkey on top of lettuce, tomato & onion and top with Swiss cheese (you can melt the cheese if you prefer).
Using the top bread piece of your bread choice, spread the cranberry sauce on top piece and place on top of Swiss cheese!  Enjoy!

Times Square Cheesesteak
A "New Yorker's take" on a Philly classic!

1/3lb. of Hot Brisket of Beef
2 oz. of chopped red & green bell peppers
2oz. of chopped red onion
2oz. of 1000 Island Dressing
2 slices of Pepper Jack cheese
1 Fresh French Baguette

In a saucepan, sauté bell peppers & onions together. Once sautéed and smelling good, layer Pepper Jack cheese on top of peppers & onions on low heat and melt cheese. 

Layer brisket across baguette and top the brisket with the peppers, onions & cheese.  
Spread the 1000 Island dressing across the top portion of the baguette and enjoy!
