How to Recover from a Terrible Interview:
1. Running Late: call ahead from the road to let them know your ETA, don't wait until you get there. Apologize, offer to reschedule, and then move on. Don't dwell on it.
2. You Botch an Answer: it's very normal to freeze up or answer poorly when you're on the spot. Provide a better answer in your thank-you email.
3. You're Underdressed: acknowledge the issue right away and apologize for the misunderstanding. Everyone has messed up at one point, so it's better to be straightforward and sincere.

Unique Pumpkin Decorating
-Drilled Lighted Pumpkin
Cut top and clean out inside of pumpkin. Using a power drill and 1/2" or desired drill or paddle bit, drill holes through pumpkin all over at random.
Place a piece of aluminum foil in bottom of pumpkin.
Using Battery operated lights, poke lights through the holes. A flashlight or other desired light sources can also be used.
Using a Dremel tool with cutting bit, cut a smile at the bottom under the stem (stem acts as the nose), trace the bottom of a red solo cup and cut circle out.
Cut top off of the cup, also cut a circle out of the bottom of another cup for the eye. Color circle to desired eye color.
Place cup in hole, hot glue eye into front of cup.
Cut two holes at the top for the mini gords for ears.

It's officially Pumpkin season and the entire month of October is Pasta Month! What better way to celebrate than to put the two together for a Pumpkin Ravioli.

Cibo e Vino
Ravioli Dough Ingredients
2 cups sifted AP flour
2 cups sifted cake flour
17 egg yolks
2 whole eggs
2 oz. extra virgin olive oil
2 oz. milk
1 tbsp. salt and pepper
Add 4 cups of sifted Flours to bowl
Add 1 tablespoon of salt and pepper
Add 2 oz. of both milk and extra virgin olive oil and the 17 egg yolks
Add 2 whole eggs
Whisk all ingredients together and finish with kneading the dough
Pumpkin Ravioli Mix Ingredients
2 lb. (oiled) pumpkin
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
1/4 lb. butter
Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix thoroughly
Add thin layer of sifted flour to ravioli trays and roll out dough real thin
Lay the dough over the trays
Put a spoonful of filling in each Ravioli section
Use water and dab a small amount between all Ravioli's to make a seal
Roll out another thin section of dough and lay on top of the ravioli's
Roll with a rolling pin until Ravioli's are sealed
Cut out each individual ravioli
Sage Cream Sauce Ingredients:
2 cups cream
3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. garlic
1 tbsp. salt and pepper
Dash of nutmeg
1 tablespoon of sage
Sweat 1 tablespoon of garlic in 3 tablespoons of butter
Add 2 cups of cream and reduce 25%
Add 1 tablespoon of garlic, salt and pepper and the dash of nutmeg
Finish with a tablespoon of sage and server over ravioli's
