La Pinata restaurant is a landmark in Phoenix- opened in 1970 on the SW corner of 19th Avenue and Osborn. The sign and food quickly became local favorites. Politicians, sports stars, and local celebrities all went there. In their heyday in the late 70's and early 80's they would easily have a 3 hour wait on weekend nights. Recently they've been featured by KAET's "Check Please", the New Times, and CBS5's "Paul's Plate".
Now the family that opened the restaurant has decided to move locations. And as fate would have it, they're moving into another iconic location- the former Mary Coyle's at 7th Avenue and Missouri, right next door to 3TV!

I am a young spunky girl ready for action! The boxer in me makes me a great playmate for the dogs who can handle my boxing paws and go-go-go attitude. I am just a baby and I am going to be a lot of work to become the best dog I can be when I'm older. I will need a family who is ready to help me learn everything I need to know and give me lots of exercise. If you are interested in me or any of my other adoptable friends, don't hesitate to come to the shelter and say hello!
