She's only 19 and the company she founded, "Origami Owl," has become a worldwide success. She has also inspired countless other young entrepreneurs along the way.
On Tuesday's Good Morning Arizona, we caught up with Origami Owl co-founder, 19-year-old Bella Weems. We also got a behind-the-scenes tour of her east Valley warehouse where she employees some 300 people.
She wanted the space to be much like Google, where employees can relax and hang out in "The Nest" and slide down a slide to get to work.
Bella showed us her new collegiate jewelry collection, her MLB collection, as well as her Halloween, Thanksgiving and Holiday collections. She will also show us how custom inscribing and packaging is done. She is 56truly inspiring and gives hope to young aspiring entrepreneurs with a business idea.
Bella turned 19 in June 2015. She graduated high school in 2014. She does plan to go to college, but for right now she is focusing on the business that she and mom started years ago. She takes a very hands-on approach in the creative designs and gets to approve the new collections.
Right now, her company employs about 300 and provides direct sales jobs to some 60,000 independent designers in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.
