Hard Knocks Gym has been in the valley since 1996. It's a full-fitness gym that uses boxing, kickboxing, and Kempo karate as the primary tools.
HKG offers 3 classes a day, 6 days a week. Members can also sign up for 3 free classes a week. Classes offered are Cardio Kickboxing, Boxing, Strength and Conditioning, beginning boxing and Kempo Karate.
The gym uses these tools because anyone at any fitness level can do them. Regardless of age, weight or activity level you can do a modified version of these workouts. Boxing can burn 350-600 calories an hour, and can increase muscle mass and flexibility.
Pro football, basketball and baseball players have also been known to use boxing during the off-season because it is one of the best strength and endurance program out there.
