Food truck challenge event to benefit the Leukemia Lympoma Society 

On September 1 several prominent Valley landmarks and businesses Turned Red to kick off Blood Cancer Awareness Month. CityScape, Talking Stick Resort Arena, Legends Entertainment District, Comerica Theatre, Top Golf Scottsdale & Gilbert, the City of Gilbert Splash Pad at the Water Tower and Queen Creek Olive Mill turned their lights on at dusk shining a bright red to support this cause in collaboration with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Arizona Chapter.

In addition to the kick-off many other events are taking place to support Blood Cancer Awareness Month including the Food Truck Challenge this Friday, September 25 from 5:30pm-8:30pm at Gilbert Food Truck Court (385 N. Gilbert Rd). A $1 donation to LLS will buy you a vote for your favorite food truck and there is no limit. Food Trucks will either donate a portion of their evening's proceeds, gift cards, or a flat donation to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.

Arizona Off road & Sand Expo

If you are an off-road fanatic, or just a guy in general, you'll love this...the Off-Road & Sand Expo is landing in the Valley at Westworld for a 3-day show beginning today, Friday Sept 25th. One of the coolest things you'll see at this event is the official 'Tonka' Off-Road Trophy Truck. Over 200 vendors in the realm of anything off road, motorcycle, ATV racing, adventure and outdoor fun will tantalize your senses. This Expo has a track record of being the largest off-road show in Arizona. It also features a huge RV show with million dollar RV's. Yamaha will be unveiling it's new YXB side-by-side UTV, a first for Arizona.

Create AZ Arizona Center

A new exhibit called CREATE opens at the Arizona Science Center, allowing kids to get interactive and learn to create with 3D printing, sewing and wood-working. Kids can tour through the exhibit, watch demo's and then, for an additional fee, kids can create a PVC marshmallow shooter. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Stanton on Sat 26th at 10am.

Fiesta Bowl

Fiesta Bowl tickets are going on sale now! The Fiesta Bowl at the University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale is Friday January 1st at 11am as two of the best teams in college football will square off this New Year's Day. And, while it's too early to know which teams they'll be, it's not too early to know that the best Fiesta Bowl 2016 Tickets are gonna sell out fast! Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix (www.wetnwildphoenix.com), is partnering with St. Mary's Food Bank to help support local families in need.
