Minecraft video in Theaters
We know kids all over the world are obsessed with Minecraft - one of the world's most downloaded video games that lets players use their imaginations and critical thinking to build and battle in a 3D world.
So for the first time ever, Super League Gaming is bringing a brand new experience to Phoenix by transforming movie theaters into interactive gaming arenas for kids!
Kids in Phoenix will get the chance to experience the game through the big screen and with other players while they compete for the coveted Super League World Championship.
Super League has partnered with the nation's three largest movie theater chains - Regal Entertainment Group, AMC Theatres and Cinemark Theatres, as well as luxury chain iPic Theaters - to turn video games into collaborative, team-building, after school activities for kids. Each event is comprised of a 100-minute session that includes live team gameplay and individual battles, while players work to climb the world leaderboard. Gamers play in the traditional first-person view on their laptops while watching a customized third-person aerial 'world view' with all players on the theater screen.
