It seems like kale is popping up on every menu these days. On Tuesday, the chefs from Cibo e Vino showed us a great kale dish to try at home.
Sautéed Shrimp & Scallop with Kale & Cork Screw Pasta Ingredients 4 Shrimp 4 Scallops 1 pound of Cork Screw Pasta 1 pound of Kale 1 Tablespoon of Garlic 4 Tablespoons of Butter 1 Tablespoon of Shallots 1 Teaspoon of Salt & Pepper
Directions Heat a large skillet and melt 2 tablespoons of butter and soften shallots. Sautee shrimp and scallops for 3 minutes on each side. Finish with Garlic, sauté for 1 minute. In a second hot skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and add Kale, sauté until soft and tender, about 5 minutes and season with salt and pepper. Boil cork screw pasta to aldente On a large plate, place Kale and Pasta and mix together. Top with cooked shrimp and scallop, serve hot.
