Last Day for Voter Registration
An important reminder if you plan to vote in the upcoming Phoenix election and you are not registered to vote. Today is the last day to register for the Phoenix mayor and City Council election. JDFR Fundraiser
JDFR is a local organization funding Type 1 diabetes (TID) research and Ahi Mahi Fish Grill are teaming up to host a fundraiser for JDRF. Ahi Mahi Fish Grill is donating $1 from every entrée purchase to JDFR from July 27 through July 31. Today the first 25 people at 11 a.m. get free entrees. There will be free kids meals on Wednesday, July 29, buy adult entree, get one kids meal free (with child). On Aug. 1 and 2 all entrees are 50 percent off plus you can enter to win free food the rest of the year (one meal per week for the rest of 2015). Ahi Mahi Fish Grill offers health-conscious California Fish Grill with a South East Fusion. They are opening a new location at 2805 N Scottsdale Rd #103 (Scottsdale and Thomas Road).

Free Swim School Supplies
The summer is almost over and that means pool season is wrapping up in the next few weeks. Starting this week the City of Peoria is offering free swim lessons to people who come to the pool and donate a school supply item. The school drive will conclude the last weekend of swim on Aug. 1-2. Historic Auction

Abraham Lincoln's signed photo, Barbra Streisand's music score, Bat Masterson 1882 Colt... it's all available at a rare and historic antique auction. There are 3 free big events coming up... 2 auctions on July 30 and Aug. 2.

A Taste of Tokyo
Chef Kevin Binkley and of Bink's Scottsdale at the Shops at Hilton Village, and Chef Nubuo Fukuda at the Teeter House just returned from a month in Tokyo with friend and fellow chef, Nobuo Fukuda. He found new inspiration for his four Valley restaurants on this culinary adventure. They are here to talk about their favorite memories from the trip including visiting the oldest and largest fish market in the world  Tokyo's Tsujiki Fish Market.

On August 25th, you can get a “Taste of Tokyo” at special event these chef’s will be hosting at Binkley’s restaurant in Cave Creek.
