A Valley mom says she felt disappointed after a local business ruined her daughter's birthday adventure.

We first told you about Amy Lundberg and her problem in April that's when 3 On Your Side helped get her money back from a horseback riding business. The case was closed, but it wasn't.

"We went up the highest mountain," said Bella Rice, Lundberg's daughter.

Photos pretty much sums up a memory that 6-year-old Bella will never forget.

"I was really excited," Bella said.

In a previous 3 On Your Side report we told you about Bella's passion for horses and her excitement over a birthday gift involving a scheduled horseback ride.

But the big event never happened because the company that owned the horses canceled at the last minute.

"When we were about 20 minutes away, somebody called and canceled on us,” said Bella's mom, Amy Lundberg. “They said that they had some sort of emergency and we could call back and reschedule for the very next day."

3 On Your Side actually had to get involved to help get Amy's $98 horseback fee returned, but even though we got mom's money back it still left Bella without that horseback ride.

The owner of a business called High Mountain Trail Rides in Mormon Lake saw our news report.

"He just offered us a horseback ride for me and my daughter for free and from there he also extended a free ride for my boyfriend and parents," Lundberg said.

Eddie Pisciotta runs the business and told 3 On Your Side he couldn't let this horse-loving little girl miss out on such a memory. So he offered up a $350 horseback trip completely free - a trip that Bella and her family will always remember.

"She enjoyed the heck out of the ride, had a good time,” Pisciotta said. “Hopefully made up for her birthday that got kind of messed up by that other place."

Lundberg said she is thankful 3 On Your Side got involved.

"I wouldn't have been able to do it without you guys,” she said. “None of this would have been possible without 3 On Your Side."

What a great ending and a big thank you to High Mountain Trail Rides for stepping up.
