GLENDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -

It's an exciting day for the Arizona Coyotes.

While the 2015 NHL draft is taking place in Florida, a huge Arizona Coyotes draft party is planned for 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday at Gila River Arena in Glendale.

The event is free and open to the public.

At the rally, the team is expected to unveil its new jerseys for the upcoming 2015-2016 season.

Arizona Coyotes President and CEO Anthony LeBlanc said the ongoing legal dispute between the organization and the city of Glendale is in the hands of attorneys and has nothing to do with the team's main focus, which is to have the best season possible.

"The team, the players, the coaches, the GMs, we're all focused on what's important and that's building this team," he said.Q

Preseason starts Sept. 21 and the Coyotes' first home game is scheduled for Oct. 10.

"This is our home arena, we love this building, we as the owners have put millions of dollars into this arena each offseason, including this one, but we can't wait for opening night," LeBlanc said.
