Come see and be amazed by some of the coolest acts, energetic circus productions and exotic animals. Free Salad Day
MAD Greens is opening its first two restaurants in the Valley and will kick things off with a Free Salad Day at both locations (Tempe Marketplace and Scottsdale) Thursday, June 25, with 100 percent of all donations received to benefit the Boys & Girls Club Ladmo Branch in Tempe and Thunderbirds Branch in Scottsdale. From 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., MAD Greens will be offering a choice of complimentary beverage and regular-sized salad to any guests. The restaurant specializes in premium made-to-order salads, fresh-blended juices, paninis, wraps and soup.
Known as one of the Top 10 major events in Phoenix and one of the largest volleyball tournaments in the world, the 32nd Volleyball Festival Championships continue Thursday at the Phoenix Convention Center.
The competition draws 7,000 young female athletes from 20 states and countries with age divisions covering 12 to 18. The Volleyball Festival is unique compared to other tournaments in that there is no pre-qualification and it's open to all club and school teams. All activities are open to the public and spectator tickets can be purchased online or at the Phoenix Convention Center.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.volleyball-festival.com and range from basic daily prices of $10 for adults and $8 for children to packages priced at $32 to $50 depending on type of ticket, which include all-access, weekly and Kids Zone.
