Looking for a Father's Day gift idea for the dad who has everything?
Omaha Steaks, a family-owned company built by 5 generations of fathers and sons, is known for providing premium, All-American grain-fed beef for nearly 100 years.
Omaha Steaks conducted a national survey and found that more than 80 percent of Dads would rather receive a steak than a tie.
This year Omaha Steaks is offering the Dad's Day Dinner Combo: two (24 oz.) T-Bone Steaks that are perfect for grilling, a 16 oz. package of Omaha Steakhouse Fries, four (4 oz.) Caramel Apple Tartlets, and the company's signature steak seasoning, all for $69.99.
Omaha Steaks has other ideas for Father's Day gifts, too, like T-Bones, Bone-in Ribeye Cowboy Steaks and the brand new King Cuts, the company's biggest steaks ever.
Omaha Steaks Executive Chef, Karl Marsh, visited us on Good Morning Arizona Wednesday to give some grilling tips for anyone planning to barbecue Father's Day weekend!
-Do season and lightly oil your food before grilling.
-Try a signature seasonings for an extra pinch of flavor.
-Don't use forks to handle the steaks as they can damage the meat. Use tongs or a spatula instead.
-Don't put frozen steaks on the grill; make sure they are room temperature.
-Keep a spray bottle with water handy to douse any un-expected flare-ups.
-Do grill your steak just right, trying the 60/40 grilling method. Grill for 60 percent of the time on the first side, then grill 40 percent of the time after you turn over the food.
