Cooking Tips


1. Cut off both ends

2. Peel with a vegetable peeler

3. Stand mango on one of the cut ends

4. Line knife up against one side of the seed and cut off one cheek

5. Do the same on the other side

6. Place one mango cheek on it's flat side and slice into planks.

7. Cut the planks into cubes


1. Cut off both ends

2. Slide a spoon in between the skin and the flesh

3. Holding the kiwi in one hand and the spoon in the other, rotate the kiwi keeping the spoon in between the skin and the flesh

4. Once the skin has release, slide it off

5. Cut the kiwi in half lengthwise

6. Place one half of the kiwi on it's flat side and cut into planks

7. Cut the planks into cubes


1. Place the tomato on it's side with the stem end facing away from you

2. Place your knife on top of the tomato looking over the front to make sure it is lined uo just to the side of the stem end

3. cut ¾ of the way down

4. Turn the tomato a quarter of a turn, using your knife to flip the cut piece

5. Continue around the core until it is completely cut out

6. Use your thumbs to push out the seeds

7. Place the tomato skin side down and cut crosswise into planks

8. Cut the planks into cubes


1. Peel a clove of garlic

2. Pull your cutting board to the end of counter and the garlic clove to the end of the cutting board

3. Using the BACK of your knife (the portion just above the handle) come straight down on the garlic clove as if you shaving it

4. This will crush and mince the garlic at the same time

Filleting a Pepper

1. Cut the top off of your pepper

2. Pop out the stem and save the rest of the top portion- it can still be used!

3. Stand the pepper on it's uncut end and cut in half

4. Place the half pepper skin side down on the cutting board and cut in half

5. Take the tip of your knife and, cutting away from you, slice off the membrane using the same motion you would to fillet a fish

6. Cut the ¼ pepper into strips

7. Dice the strips


1. If you happen to get a piece of eggshell in the rest of your ingredients- don't worry!

2. Take part of your already broken eggshell and scoop the little piece up. Eggshell attracts eggshell!

Cutting Dried Fuit

Spray your knife with cooking spray and the fruit will readily release from your knife!
