You've heard of a block party. Now, how about a “bark” party?
It's a great chance to adopt a dog or cat, because during this event, adoption fees are only a nickel for some animals!
The state's oldest and largest no-kill shelter is hosting the Local Bark Party on Friday, May 8, During the event, guests are encouraged to "shop local, adopt local, support local."
The Local Bark Party, is a one-of-a-kind, vintage-themed block party hosted by the Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA in partnership with Local First Arizona. The event will feature live music from local artists, games, kids' activities, food trucks and more.
