ATLANTA (CBS46) -An Atlanta public schools teacher has been fired amid allegations that she taped the mouth of the 5-year-old boy with asthma.

The little boy's mother, Krystle Terry-Cox, told CBS46's Dontaye Carter her son, Noah, has not wanted to go back to school since the incident happened.

“It was very frustrating because knowing that I wasn't there to protect him. Noah didn't want to go to school after that,” said Terry-Cox.

Terry-Cox said Noah told her one of the girls jumped in front of him while he was in line in the hallway and when he tried to tell the teacher, she put tape on his mouth. That same tape, Terry-Cox said, was on Noah's mouth even during her son's nap.

CBS46 obtained a police report stating after a parent-teacher conference, the teacher was fired.

Noah described for CBS46 what happened when the teacher allegedly put tape on his mouth last month.

“She put tape on my mouth and then she let me go to sleep with it. Then she put cream on my mouth so she can take it off. Then I had a mark on my lip,” said Noah.
