The 6th Annual Arizona Barbecue Festival is grilling up some fun this weekend on Saturday, May 2 at Salt River Fields.
The festival will run from noon until 10 p.m., serving up delicious fun for the whole family.
There will be all styles of barbecue, expert pitmasters and a "bacon station." The festival also hosts the Redneck Arena games like a giant version of beer pong, watermelon seed spitting, arm wrestling, pie eating contests and more.
There is a kids zone for junior barbecue lovers with bouncing structures, rides and games.
The festival will also include live music and pageants for categories like "redneckiest outfit" and "hottest in Daisy Dukes."
Tickets for the festival are $12, and children ages 12 and under get in for free. Serious BBQ lovers can get VIP tickets for $60 online and $75 at the gate. Parking is free at the event.
