Goodwill Job Fair

Goodwill is hosting several job fairs throughout the valley today. Job seekers should bring plenty of resumes and dress professionally for onsite interviews.

Hiring Event: Soreo In Home Support Services at Goodwill Fresh Start Women's Foundation Career Center, located at 1130 E. McDowell Road in Phoenix, 85006 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

They are looking to hire for the positions of:

  • Direct Care Workers (Caregivers)
  • Certified Nursing
  • Medical Assistants

Hiring Event: Premier Employee Solutions at Goodwill South Mountain Career Center, located at 1980 W. Baseline Road, Phoenix, 85041 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

They are looking to hire for the positions of:

Finally, Goodwill and Maricopa Skill center will be hosting a job fair at Goodwill Career Center On-Site at Maricopa Skill Center Northwest,2931 W. Bell Road, Phoenix, AZ, 85053 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Kids Sports

Mountain Vista Medical Center residency doctors, in partnership with Desert Grove Family Medical, will offer FREE sports physicals to students on one selected Saturday a month, from April to August.

The sports physicals are free, regardless of whether the student has insurance, provided that they schedule an appointment ahead of time during one of the special dates and times offered.

The next opportunity for a student to get a free sports physical is this Saturday, April 18, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Desert Grove Family Medical in Mesa. To schedule a free sports physical, call 480-834-7546.
