The Arizona Distilling Company has earned the prestigious Double Gold Medal for its Desert Dry Gin at the international San Francisco World Spirits competition. The distillery competed against spirits from more than 65 countries.
A panel of 41 spirits experts conducted a blind taste test of spirits from all over the world, and Arizona Distilling Company's Desert Dry Gin was one of four American gins to receive a Double Gold Medal at the 2015 competition.
The distillery won a total of four awards at the spirits competition, including a gold medal for its Humphrey's Whiskey, a silver medal for its Desert Drum Wheat Whiskey, and a bronze medal for its Park Rye Whiskey.
Arizona Distilling Company is the first and only distillery in Arizona that uses locally grown grain. Their Desert Dry Gin is a small-batch gin made with local Arizona botanicals. The company launched three years ago and has earned more than 10 awards at top spirits competitions.
Arizona Distilling Company products are sold at more than 500 Valley locations, and their spirits can be purchased directly at their Tempe warehouse location. Guided tours and tastings at the location are open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
